St. Mary's Fighting Irish Football Update Awards Recognition Night

St. Mary's Football has been able to secure the St. Mary's Gymnasium to host the 2008 St. Mary's Fighting Irish Football Awards night !!!! This opportunity became available in the last couple of days and we feel it would be very appropriate to host the evening at the St. Mary's gym. Therefore, we are moving the dinner and awards night to St. Mary's Gym. The date and time will remain the same - Monday, December 15, 2008 at 6:00 PM.

We will be acknowledging all of the teams and all of the volunteers who gave their time during the very successful season all six teams had, including three (3) Super Bowl playoff teams as well as two (2) Super Bowl Game participants and one (1) Super Bowl winner !!!!!!

There will be a buffet style dinner beginning at 6:00 PM – all catered by Joe's Place – one of St. Mary's Football long time sponsors. Please plan on attending this very eventful night as we recognize the St. Mary's Fighting Irish players and all of their accomplishments of the 2008 season. Please note that this special evening is designated for all players and their parents. St. Mary's Football will be underwriting the cost of the evening and as such we ask that unless it is unavoidable, that the attendees be only the Player and his parents. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We would however, ask that each family give consideration to making a donation to the Coach Chuck Vrasich Heart Fund to assist Coach Chuck with his efforts at receiving a heart transplant. The website can give you the options available for helping Coach Chuck to defray the expenses he and his family have occurred towards Chuck receiving a heart transplant. We will also be accepting donations on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the awards night. You can also mail a donation to the following:
